Directions and Parking
The event is held at the Marin Center, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael. The Pet Fair is conveniently located right off Hwy 101, accessible from all points in the Bay Area:
- Directions from the Golden Gate Bridge (San Francisco and Peninsula): North on 101 through San Rafael; Take San Pedro Rd exit (east, bear right); turn left on Civic Center Dr. Marin Center is about .5 mile on your right. About 15 miles total.
- Directions from the Richmond Bridge (East Bay): On 580 West toward Pt. Richmond/San Rafael, take the San Rafael/Hwy 101 North Exit. Continue to San Pedro Rd exit (east, bear right); turn left on Civic Center Dr. Marin Center is about .5 mile on your right. Less than 25 miles from much of Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
- Directions from the North (Sonoma County and beyond): South on Hwy 101, take the Terra Linda/Freitas Parkway exit. Proceed through light, turn left on Gallinas (Northgate Mall) and turn left at next light (Merrydale Crossover). Turn right on Civic Center Dr; Marin Center will be on your left.
- Directions from Vallejo (Solano County, Sacramento, Davis): Hwy 37 West to Novato; exit to Hwy 101 South. Take the Terra Linda/Freitas Parkway exit. Proceed through light, turn left on Gallinas (Northgate Mall) and turn left at next light (Merrydale Crossover). Turn right on Civic Center Dr; Marin Center will be on your left. PARKING is FREE! Plenty of parking in lots (follow signs) or along Civic Center Dr.

Pet Policy
To ensure a fun and safe fair for all, please:
Only bring dogs who are well-mannered in public and not leash aggressive.
Do not bring dogs who are stressed by crowds.
Keep your dog on a 6-foot maximum leash at all times while at the Fair.
Pick up any waste deposited by your dog and notify show personnel if additional cleanup is needed.
SPECIAL WARNING: September weather in Marin is usually warm. Leaving any pet in your car during warm weather can lead to illness or death in a very short time. We will immediately have authorities remove any pets found unattended in cars on Marin Center property or adjacent Pet Fair parking. DO NOT LEAVE PETS IN CARS.
The Bay Area Pet Fair staff reserves the right to have you remove your dog from the premises at its sole discretion, and no refunds will be made.
